چکیده
Abstract Background Enoxaparin 0.75 mg/kg, with either a staged-dose regimen (0.5+0.25 mg/dl) or single-dose (0.75 achieves target anticoagulation for 90 min in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). In prolonged procedures (>90 min), supplementary-dose enoxaparin (0.375 mg/kg) needs to be given at maintain additional min. However, the actual anticoagulant profile of this remains unknown because it is recommended only based on pharmacokinetic simulations. Purpose This study directly assessed troponin-negative elective trans-radial PCI who received total dose mg/kg during first their procedures. Methods 33 procedures, 15 0.5 beginning angiography and 0.25 before (Staged-dose regimen); while, 18 without (Single-dose regimen). A was administered after given, every thereafter until end PCI. Anti-Xa levels were 0 (immediately before), 10 each supplementary (S_0min, S_10min, S_90min, respectively). Target defined as anti-Xa level 0.5–1.8 IU/ml. Results one (n=28), S1_0min: 0.87±0.19 IU/ml, S1_10min: 1.44±0.21 S1_90min: 1.10±0.21 two doses (n=5), 0.86±0.07 1.27±0.27 1.03±0.23 well S2_0min: S2_10min: 1.56±0.28 S2_90min: 1.28±0.18 respectively. No patient more than enoxaparin. All within range except receiving (S1_10min: 1.96 IU/ml 1.81 respectively) another (S2_10min: 1.87 IU/ml). Assessment of patients skin dose undergoing coronary angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
Background: Practice of interventional cardiology procedures such as Coronary angiography (CA) and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) has largely increased in recent years and is now changing to a matter of routine in many hospitals. The purpose of this study was to measure skin and organ doses in patients undergoing CA and PTCA and to find a probable relation with c...

Introduction: Anxiety is common in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Some studies have shown that one of the decreasing factors in anxiety is relaxation. Importantly, this study has been done with the aim of investigate the effect of Jacobson's relaxation on anxiety in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Materials and Methods: In this double-blind clini...

background: this study was designed to examine a unique and low dose use of intravenous enoxaparin in elective percutaneous coronary intervention (pci) that would be applicable to an unselected population regardless of age, weight, and renal function. there is limited experience in anticoagulation using intravenous low-molecular-weight heparin in pci. methods: a total of 100 consecutive patient...
